Glavista is proud to be one of the partners in a special PERTE (Strategic Projects for Economic Recovery and Transformation) VEC (Electric and Connected Vehicle) project in Spain. Comprising over 60 companies from around Spain and abroad, Future: Fast Forward project is the country’s largest business grouping in the history of the automotive industry.
The initiative is all about planning for an electric, sustainable future, something that we at Glavista are incredibly passionate about. In fact, this project is fully aligned with our ambitious five-year investment plan, including our recently unveiled top-of-the-range new lab, which will significantly enhance our capabilities when it comes to innovating for the future.
Recently, all of us involved in the initiative came together to apply to the Strategic Project for Economic Recovery (PERTE) and Transformation program for the Electric and Connected Vehicle (VEC), which aims to turn Spain into a hub for electric vehicles in Europe. If the application is successful, Volkswagen and SEAT SA will work with project partners to build a sustainable electric ecosystem in Spain, electrifying a selection of factories and installing a battery gigafactory in Valencia. We look forward to being at the heart of this important evolution.
We were also proud to join our fellow representatives at the association’s first general assembly in Madrid. We believe that real change can come about when great minds come together, and we look forward to keeping you updated on this important initiative.
