The
Automotive Intelligence Center (AIC) in Bilbao is a research and education centre in which international automotive suppliers network themselves and advance future automotive topics together through their pooled knowledge.
As
Glavista, a supplier of premium automotive glass solutions with extensive experience in the OE and aftermarket, we are also closely networked with the experts from the AIC and are working intensively on joint projects – above all in the OE area.
Thanks to the consistent practical implementation of the findings, we are constantly developing the entire range of
Glavista products for our customers. Most recently for the
calibration of driver assistance systems, even though COVID-19 has placed obstacles in the way of cooperation in the past weeks and months. Mutual visits in the real world and physically attended events such as training and trade fairs were and still are possible only with restrictions if at all, which meant that fast adaptation was called for.
By means of a rapid digital development, we succeeded in this so that our experience and developments continue to flow back into the aftermarket and the OE community via the AIC network. In this way, new ideas are created in other places in turn. A continuous circle of innovation that ultimately benefits our customers and thus all mobility users. Entirely in keeping with Glavista's vision.
